Busy, busy

Wow or wow!  Things have been very crazy busy these last 9 months.  We ended up moving this past spring out of the St. Cloud Area, into a more rural area. We love it!! The kids love their school, and we all love the community and that small town feeling of everyone knowing everyone. And in this small town, they do. A strange comes to town - no way they will be there for a day, before everyone is talk. lol. :-)

In June we got a new addition to our family. Her name is Molly. She is now a 7 month old springer spaniel/lab mix. And we love her to death. She is a great dog, and great with the kids. Even Gordon who has made Molly the human pillow. The little boys LOVE to lay on her, climb on her. She is extremely tolerant of that. She think Cyril is her litter mate, so we have to work with both Molly and Cyril about being nice with each other.  Dawn and Molly at times are together all the time. Spencer loves and tolerates her. He'd love her more if she was a cat, but we discovered this past spring that he has allergies to cat and a number of other environmental allergies. It broke my heart to have him cry so, when he was told he couldn't have a kitty. He's wanted another kitty since he was little. Maybe someday he'll get one.  And like with our family, we treat Molly holistically. We've got a WONDERFUL holistic vet. Even though she makes our lives crazy busy, especially with all the training that goes into a puppy - we couldn't imagine our lives with out her. God sure blessed us with her.

All 3 kids are in school this fall. It feels strange, we now have one in high school, one in middle school, one in elementary and one at home. How on earth are we old enough to have a daughter in high school?! lol The kids love their schools and they love our new church we got too. This church, the pastor and the congregation have been a HUGE blessing to the kids and I. Jessie still doesn't go, but I haven't stopped praying for that. :-)  The kids also love the Awana youth group as well.  God sure has blessed us.

Mom has been struggling with health issues since this summer and this week we got some bad sad news. She has cancer and it's in her lungs. It's a form of Lymphoma, but we don't know to what type it is or how bad. We will find out on monday the form. And what the our plan of action.  So if you can keep us in your prayers, that would be wonder.  There is always power in prayer.

Now that it's winter, I will try to update more on a weekly basis. This summer was crazy with all the yard work that we needed to do with our house, and training of our puppy.  I'll try to update more off. lol. I know, I know...I keep saying that, but time gets away from me.
